The farm is in a more rural area of Rulewater, offering total escapism from a hectic pace of life, ideal for a weekend of switching off and getting away from it all. A very back to basics experience, there is no wi-fi, limited mobile phone coverage and no television. Slow down the pace of life and enjoy meandering walks to the village pub, or finding inspiration along the riverside, why not take a dip and enjoy some wild swimming! Surrounded by miles of mountain bike trails around Rulewater and in the edges of Keilder forest, with secure cycle storage available.
The friendly furries include two ponies, ducks, chickens and sheep. Wildlife includes red squirrel, deer, wild ducks, oyster catchers, starlings and more. Fresh eggs may be available and home grown vegetables depending on the season.
The Horse and Hound pub at Bonchester Bridge is within walking distance of about a mile and a half for great meals from locally sourced ingredients.
